It Started With One Little Love Bug Named Skizzy and an Empty Shoebox
The Valentine Visitor began with a simple idea—a mother's desire to make Valentine's Day a little more magical for her daughter.
When my daughter was young, I wanted to create something that was about more than candy and cards. I imagined a tiny Love Bug who would quietly visit our home each February, leaving heartfelt letters filled with kindness, encouragement, creativity, and love. This Love Bug was eventually named Skizzy.
Before long, those little visits became one of our family's favorite traditions.
Every morning brought excitement as we searched for the newest Love Bug letter, shared conversations, laughed together, and watched our collection of memories grow year after year.
More Than Just a Holiday
As the years passed, our journals filled with drawings, letters, and precious memories.
Skizzy became part of our family's Valentine's tradition, reminding us that the greatest gift we can give each other is our time, our love, and our attention.
Long after the candy was gone, the memories remained.

Why We Created The Valentine Visitor
When my daughter moved away to college and I was emptying out boxes, I found her old journals, and I realized how fortunate we were to have these memories in a keepsake form.
That's when we realized our family tradition could become something other families would treasure too.
