The Story Behind The Valentine Visitor
Every family has traditions they'll never forget.
Ours began with one tiny Love Bug named Skizzy... and an ordinary shoebox.
When my daughter was little, I wanted Valentine's Day to be about more than candy and cards. I wanted to create something memorable.
So each February, a tiny Love Bug would quietly visit our home, leaving a special letter every morning. My daughter would write back in her journal, decorate Skizzy's little cottage, and eagerly wake up each day to see what surprise had arrived overnight.
More Than Letters
Year after year, those little moments became something much bigger.
The journals filled with drawings, conversations, and memories that captured a piece of childhood we never wanted to forget.
Because while toys are eventually outgrown and candy quickly disappears...
The moments we spend together become the memories our children carry forever.
A Tiny Cottage... And A Big Imagination
Our very first Love Bug home wasn't fancy. It was simply a decorated shoebox.
Today, the Cozy Cottage invites children to build, imagine, and believe that their Love Bug has a magical place to rest between nightly visits.
It's more than part of the gift set.
Why We Created The Valentine Visitor
Years later, after my daughter left for college, I found our old journals tucked away in a box.
Reading those letters brought every February morning rushing back. Seeing her read through the journals now brings so much laughter and so many wonderful memories.
That's when we realized our family tradition deserved to be shared with other families.
So we created The Valentine Visitor—not just as a gift, but as a way to help parents create traditions their children will remember long after they've grown up.
Our Wish For Your Family
We hope your Love Bug brings a little extra magic into your home every February.
We hope the letters spark meaningful conversations.
We hope the journal becomes a keepsake you'll treasure for years.
We hope the Cozy Cottage becomes a place where imagination comes alive.
And most of all...
We hope one day, many years from now, you'll open your child's journal and smile as those precious memories come rushing back—just like we did.
Because the greatest gift isn't what's inside the box.
It's the memories your family creates together.
Welcome to The Valentine Visitor.
❤️ With love,
Kim & Tori
